Okay y’all. Let’s get to the nitty gritty of what I’m actually setting out to do in 146 days.

Here’s the mission: The World Race is an 11 country, 11 month mission trip to share the love of Jesus and serve others around the world. The heartbeat of The World Race aligns with mine: a desperation to see the world look more like the Kingdom of God; which means reaching the unreached and leading them into a life of love. I want to see the lost saved, disciples made, and ultimately serve the body of Christ to bring Heaven closer to Earth.

I’m partnering with The World Race, an organization that is equipping the Church to raise up disciples to serve others by partnering with local churches; we will be cultivating long-term, global change in people and projects that will continue long after our work is done. Each country will look different, but the role is the same: to let His love be known.

“He said to them, ‘Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation’” (Mark 16:15)

The World Race has partnered with more than 1,000 ministry partners in 79 countries under the umbrella of Adventures in Missions, which was founded in 1989 and has provided opportunities for more than 110,000 people to participate in mission trips all over the globe. Adventures in Missions exists to mobilize a generation of radical Christ followers, disciplining and training them to establish the Kingdom of God by travelling the world caring for the lost and the hurting. The work done bears fruit as evidence: what’s come out of AIM is orphan advocacy programs, business opportunities in third-world nations, pastors who work in America and overseas, church planters, justice care workers, and more. And, I can’t wait to join in!

The World Race will allow me to experience what the first generation of disciples did: feeding the hungry, healing the sick, clothing the naked, welcoming the stranger, delivering the oppressed, serving the least, rising for the marginalized, and hearing the voice of God. To love how Jesus loved and to live how Jesus lived will bring light in the darkness and throughout the ends of the Earth.

Here’s the invitation: to partner with me, too, in prayer and in financial support (let me know if you’d like more info on this!). I want you to walk beside me and partner with me in what God is already doing, and what has called me to do. I invite you to give to provide the opportunity to go to the darkest corners of the world to bring light and love and to make disciples of all nations. I know I can’t do this on my own… and I don’t want to either!

JOIN ME IN PRAYER:

Father, help us to raise up a generation of radically committed disciples of Christ and send them out to the nations to let your love be known. Empower us to live a life of abandonment, leaving behind the comforts and distractions to wholeheartedly follow You. Lead us into utter dependence, allowing You to be our strength, knowing Your presence and goodness satisfy every need. Thank you for the work you are already doing and the battles you are already fighting, use us as your hands & feet of your ministry, too.
